How our emotional attitude destroys our faith.

How our emotional attitude destroys our faith.

Today, in the light of the Holy Quran, we will learn about the book mental illness of extremism/emotionalism, how a normal person becomes an extremist? And also when we have aggressive behavior and how it affects our personality.
And we will know that if it exists in us, how it is possible to treat it with the Qur’an, so that we can remove its effects and become a moderate personality twice.

Psychiatric Illness: Extremism.

In the Holy Quran, many words are used to show human extremism, one of them is “Kufr”. There are basically 3 meanings in the word “Kufr” and these meanings are also the degrees of Kufr.
1: hiding
2: Underestimation of blessings
3:Refusal of arguments

Extremism in us starts from “hiding” something and that is “insecurities” and to hide inferiority to some extent. For example, your performance in school, college, office or home is always compared with others. Or you think that the blessings and resources they get in life are less than yours. Or if the most beloved thing, rank or person, which one is struggling to achieve, is obtained by someone else, then a person has a thought in himself:

that my right has been reduced !
or perhaps I am not worthy of anything!
or Allah does not listen to me!

This thought and doubt; It changes his way of looking at thingsand situations. It seems all the time just the thought of his deprivations makes him ungrateful. Just one complex starts spoiling your personality.

This thought leads to the underestimation of blessings. Because the human heart can do only one thing at a time, either it will think positive thoughts or negative thoughts. A person who always thinks of deprivation loses the pleasure of blessings and sincere relationships because he lives in the past and living in the present makes him hate himself even more due to his negative thinking. Such a person is not able to see other blessings around him.

On the other hand, his faith is damaged. He feels that when my sincere prayer was not accepted, why should I call upon the Lord?
Why should I pray?
Then man gets a justification for not obeying the rest of Allah’s commands. When the turn comes to this point and the person does not turn back, then the heart starts to be sealed, he becomes a rude person in the society, even if someone else talks about his benefits, even then he stubbornly refuses and ultimately his health becomes worse. It includes overreacting on every small and big thing. He overreacts wherever he feels that his self is being negated and this end makes him an extreme person.

Consequences of radical
thinking:

A person is left alone even in a crowded party. He constantly goes through mental agony thinking about his deprivations and by becoming an ungrateful person, he damages both his world and the hereafter.

 treatment of Extremism:

If extremism is disbelief, then the cure for disbelief is in “faith”. There is only one substance of “acceptance”
If at any time, love is not received or supplication is not accepted, then know, if you accept the current circumstances and give thanks in view of the idea that He takes the best and bestows the best, then Allah has a promise for such a servant. .
